Yes. We understand that a wedding cake is something truly special and that you’ll either commission a specialist baker or try your hand at making your own.
We are happy for you to supply your own wedding cake and our catering staff will cut it into fingers and serve it at a pre-arranged point during your evening reception. Don’t forget to tell us if you’d like to save the top tier or if one layer is to be served first.
A tower of cheeses in lieu of a traditional wedding cake, remains a popular option. Our catering partners will be delighted to source the cheeses of your choice, together with a selection of chutneys, pickles and biscuits for very reasonable rates.
You are very welcome to supply your own cheese tower which can be served as part of your evening buffett. Our caterers will plate the cheese and provide all the crockery, cutlery, condiments and crackers for you at just £3.50 per person.
When supplying your own cheese, please arrange to supply whole cheese rounds in sealed packaging for delivery to the venue on your wedding day.
Yes. You are given the opportunity to attend one of our Wedding Experience Events where you can try a number of dishes. Always a tremendous success, these events make it so much easier for you to go away and make decisions about what you want to serve at your Wedding Breakfast.
(Please be aware that where your Wedding Day falls within nine months of booking the venue, it may not be possible to attend a Wedding Experience Event.)
In most cases, you’ll decide what you’d like to be served at your wedding breakfast and all your guests will be served the same menu. We’ll always cater for any vegetarian guests separately of course, and any guests with specific dietary requirements.
By prior arrangement with the caterers, you can offer a choice on all three courses of your wedding breakfast if desired. When your guests highlight their choices on the wedding invitation RSVP, we recommend you make a note of their individual choices on the back of their place name card. That way, if on your wedding day they’ve forgotten what they picked, our serving staff can advise them to have a quick peek on the back of their place name card!
No. To ensure the very highest standards in both culinary excellence and food hygiene, we work exclusively with Jenkinsons, one of the most respected independent caterers in the UK.
They are competitively priced and can offer advice on how to best cater for your evening guests.
